NAMB's 35th and final Annual Convention, June 19-23 had it's last laugh. If you missed the final night's Gala, you missed a great night of comedy from entertainer Buzz Sutherland. But that's not all - you missed one of the BEST Annual Conventions.

There were over 36 hours of FREE education being offered at this year's convention. Over 100 exhibiting companies displaying their industry specific latest services and programs. And numerous networking opportunities including a wild night out at Howl at the Moon, the classy opening reception at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the masquerade gala on the final night.

Throughout the week awards galore were given out including the prestigious Broker of the Year award presented to Jim Brown of Veteran Mortgage. Thank you to the nominees Kate Crawford, CRMS & Jeff Farnham, CMC, CRMS. In addition awards were presented for Excellence in Writing & Advertising - Writer of the Year, Lisa Rogers; Article of the Year, Bill Trees; Best Advertising Campaign, Credit Plus and Best Advertising Design, Document Systems/Doc Magic. The Distinguised Service Award was presented to Walt Scott. Harry Dinham, CMC received the Leadership Award. Tom Love accepted the Volunteer of the Year Award that was presented to the late Kathy Love, CRMS. There were six President's Awards given out this year by George Hanzimanolis, CRMS - John Councilman, CMC, CRMS, Michael D'Alonzo, CMC, Harry Dinham, CMC, Don Frommeyer, CRMS, Walt Scott and The Mortgage Press. The "new" Champion Award was presented to John Porter. Two Affliates of the Year awards were presented to Interbay Funding, LLC and Silver Hill Financial, LLC. The Red/White/Blue State Affliate winners were Oklahoma, Michigan & Washington respectively. A special recognition was also given to the Double Platinum Industry Partners - Countrywide and Wells Fargo for their continued support of NAMB.

Look for NAMB/NORTH in May 2009 in Boston which replaces the NAMB Annual Convention.
