2008 ANNUAL CONVENTION UPDATE

                                                                                                                             GREAT NEWS -- INDIANA APPROVES EXTENSION TO THE MAY 2008 EDUCATION DEADLINE REQUEST TO INCLUDE CONVENTION COURSES, CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO!
Wow, it is hard to believe that time is flying by so fast. The days are starting to race by like the blur of those Indy cars on a May afternoon. The Convention schedule is just about complete and what we need now is for NAMB members (and non-members!) to get online and register for this wonderful event.
     Everything is basically all in place. We are now starting to finalize all of the “fine touches” that will make this the one event that everyone will be talking about for years to come.
     Education has been finalized and we are offering more classes for you in 2008 to attend than hours in the day. We are even offering a great new certification workshop. In this time of mortgage lending, everyone can use the NAMB CMC & CRMS certification program to help YOU stand-out and be a better loan officer.
     We have confirmed our speaker for Saturday’s Opening session, Breon Klopp and the group from PIT CREW U. This session is designed to encourage teamwork and outside of the box thinking. Wait until you see the special added surprise!
      The speaker for Sunday’s Second Session will be Bill Capodagli- If I Ran Your Organization, based on his best selling book- The Disney Way.
      The entertainment for the Gala on Monday night is the outstanding comedian Buzz Sutherland. His home spun characters ands outrageous physical expressions are contagious to the audience and everyone will be laughing and crying during his entire show. After the Gala, join us for the Post-Gala event as we party our way into the night.
      I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Friday PAC Golf Outing. It will be played on the PGA Professionals Brickyard Crossing next to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The unique part of this course is that four of the holes are inside the Speedway itself. How cool that will be! And for those of you that are not interested in the golf, we will have a “behind the scenes” tour of the Speedway and a BBQ lunch with the golfers at the Brickyard Crossing.
