The following awards may also be given on as "as deserved" basis when the situation warrants. Nominations are not being sought for these awards.



Leadership Award


The Leadership Award is to be given, on an "as deserved basis".  The recipient shall be an individual, who is a member of NAMB and has exhibited exceptional Leadership to develop an original and creative idea, establish a goal, and pursue a quest (and exhibited leadership in his/her endeavor) to promote the concept within NAMB.  The result of the eventual embracing of the concept by NAMB shall have led to a more successful Association with positive results accruing to the membership.

Distinguished Industry Service Award

This is an award that has been created for those rare instances when individuals have, over a long period of time, contributed a body of services to the lending industry (not necessarily NAMB) which, when compared to their peers, makes the recipient stand out above the rest.  It is not necessarily awarded each year.  It is special and it is something that commands respect and honor from those who view it and a sense of pride and accomplishment from those who receive it.


President's Award of Merit


The recipient of this award will be the individual selected by the President of NAMB whom the President feels has contributed most, as a singular person, to assisting and supporting him or her during the President’s term.  The selection of the recipient will be solely at the discretion of the President.
